2018年10月17日上午，我市少儿图书馆常青学校分馆开馆揭牌仪式在合肥高新常青学校图书馆隆重举行。合肥市文广新局党组成员，副局长陈江丽女士，合肥市文广新局，社会文化处处长夏现初先生，合肥市少儿图书馆馆长谢阳春先生，合肥高新常青学校校董事贝文彪先生，合肥高新常青学校校长杨晓华女士，合肥高新常青学校国际部校长Dr. Nolan校长参与此次活动,并为市少儿图书馆揭牌。

谢阳春先生首先对少儿图书馆常青学校分馆开馆表示热烈祝贺，并向在图书馆建设中的辛勤劳动者表示感谢。谢春阳先生说，市少儿图书馆的建设是我市的主题实践活动，是全民阅读活动的一个载体和场所。书籍和阅读是传承人类文明的一个载体，少儿图书馆常青学校分馆的开馆将会给朋友们提供一个良好的阅读环境，陶冶孩子们的情操，增长知识，开拓视野，提高修养，丰富孩子们的课余文化生活。图书馆分馆的建成，为少儿朋友的成长成才搭建一个良好的平台。希望开馆以后，能加强管理，不断充实书籍资料，给少年提供更加温馨、良好、和谐的读书环境，更希望少年儿童要把阅读当做一种生活习惯。

The establishment of the library would also set up a good platform for the growth and success of children’. He hoped that after the opening of the library, our staff can continuously strengthen our management, enrich books and materials, provide a warm, comfort and harmonious reading environment for young people, and he also hoped that young children would have reading habit in their daily life.
仪式结束后，市领导和孩子们一同参观了少儿图书馆，并视察了藏书结构、阅读环境及设施设备情况。
