2019年10月23日-24日，站在“科技化、创新型、高品质”这一高屋建瓴的视角，合肥常青学校外语组举办了英语教育教学趣味比赛——第一届常青SPELLING BEE单词拼写大赛。
As the teachers of IVY Experiment Academy, we should stand out and depict a future picture for the students. With a “new, high-end, international”point of view, we are eager to achieve some high-end primary school education system. The First English Spelling Bee Competition has been held in our school in Oct. 23th and Oct.24th.
校长杨晓华女士为全体参赛同学送上最给力的加油与喝彩，她深切地祝愿每一位同学都能在比赛中收获自信与成长、快乐与希望，做地球人，学好掌握世界语是时代的要求和你们的责任。
First and foremost, our Pricipal Yang Xiaohua has been invited to give us a brilliant keynote speech.
杨校长的阵前鼓令同学们跃跃欲试。王燕老师宣布：比赛正式开始！瞧这群小蜜蜂们，尽管竞争激烈，哪怕拼错一个词都会败下阵来，但是所有的孩子都不骄不躁，泰然自若，乐享其中。为期两天的赛程分为初赛和决赛，并对应有不同等级的奖项，最后由外教老师进行了隆重的颁奖仪式。
After that, students couldn't help raising their hands to compete in the front.Start! Even though the competition was so fierce that one competitor would be out if he made any big mistake, children were still keeping calm and carrying on.
在这次比赛中，我们也偷偷地珍藏了孩子们许多许多更为生动的情感与表情：为同班同学的成绩喜极而泣；为遗憾失误的同学而惋惜；为别人说出了一个自己从未听过的单词而振奋；为自己学到了新的知识而雀跃……这场单词拼写在热火朝天的氛围中进行到了尾声，也为合肥常青学校的“情感教育”实践添上了一笔灿烂的色彩。杨校长表示，学校会将此类常态化活动继续开展下去，也为每一位同学所展现出来的风采所骄傲！
This competition has reached to the end, and everyone were fulfilled.Our activities were well-organized and carefully arranged by English teachers group. It not only puts the theory on our textbook into practice, but also promotes the cultural exchange and people-to-people communication among different cultures and countries.
