2019年9月2日，合肥常青学校正式步入了开学大典。全体师生齐聚一堂，举行了隆重的开学典礼暨“小黄埔军”集训仪式。典礼在庄严的国歌声中拉开序幕。今年是新中国成立70周年，师生也一齐向祖国母亲献上了一份炽热的祝福礼。
On September 2, 2019, Hefei Ivy Experimental Academy officially held the opening ceremony. All the teachers and students gathered together to hold a grand opening ceremony and "Little Whampoa Army" training ceremony. The ceremony began with a solemn national anthem.This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, and teachers and students have also presented a fiery blessing to the mother of the motherland.
在开学典礼上，校长杨晓华女士与全体师生共上开学第一课——“伟大祖国我为你骄傲”。杨校的新学年寄语中，饱含着她对孩子们深深的期许与浓浓的爱，她对孩子们讲：“今年是伟大祖国成立70周年，今天是常青学校建校一周年，你们生活在祖国经济、文化、科技发展日新月异的新时代，爸爸妈妈把你们送到新型、高端、国际化的校园里读书，你们要感恩祖国，感恩学校，感恩父母，长大报效祖国，报答父母。为将来有理由建设祖国，今天要把安全放在生活中一切的第一位，这是我们未来实现梦想的基石，在此基础之上，也要快快乐乐地度过学习成长的每一天。”她还谈到，要落地“3030”特色育人工程与“两无标兵”等具体行动，为孩子们营造高品质的综合素养全人教育，本学期开始将实行三个特色日即“我最美丽日”（平日学生需穿着校服，每周有一天可以穿上自己喜欢的衣服展现属于自己的风采）和“无作业日”（每周课业完成优秀者可获得一天免作业的特权）“英语日”。
