2018年12月6日，GIA全球学术总监STEPHEN和中国区李皓辰总督莅临合肥常青学校检查指导工作。
On December 6th, 2018, GIA Global Academy Director Stephen Rivers along with Marketing Director, Harry Lee, visited Hefei Gaoxin IVY Experimental Academy.
下午3:00时，会议在学校小会议室举行。参加会议的有学校董事李继和、贝文彪以及全体GIA教师。会上，首先听取了校长杨晓华对GIA项目实施以来的学术进展和整体部署安排。
The meeting was held at 3 p.m. in the small conference room. Schoolboard Li Jihe, Bei Wenbiao and all GIA teachers attended the meeting. First of all, Principal Yang Xiaohua reported the academic progress and overall department arrangement.
从GIA项目的选择依据，到GIA项目的落地实施；从团队项目研究落实，到具体实施；从义务教育国家要求所应达到的英语水平，到双语教材融合和团队具体研究教学，都做了详尽汇报。杨校长谈到GIA作为国际教育体系对学生提升英语水平和国际文化都具有教育国际化现实意义和深远的历史意义。
From the selection of GIA to GIA implementation.The principal also talked about GIA as an international education system has practical significance and far-reaching historical significance for students to improve their English level and international culture.
课程体系的确立符合中国国情，符合中国基础教育国际化改革发展。为了提升GIA学术标准，学校进行了如何使用教材和提升英语能力的多次研讨，就如何落实GIA阶段测评，使用高端GIA英语教材，希望 GIA总部在实操方面进一步加大培训指导教学，帮助中国的孩子们更好的学习，教师更高效的进行教学，同时能够为他们的终身发展提供国际文化素养和课程的支撑与帮助。
In order to upgrade GIA academic standards, the school has conducted many discussions on how to use textbooks and improve English proficiency, and how to implement them.
校长助理闫然就教材推进和具体使用，具体落实方面进行了详实客观的解说。资深雅思外教老师Mr. David 在会上提出了教材的使用和切合双语教学的融合实施意见。
The principal assistant, Yan Ran, gave a detailed and objective explanation on the promotion and concrete use of textbooks. Senior IELTS teacher Mr. David gave some suggestions on the use of textbooks and the integration of bilingual school.
最后，认真听取STEPHEN总监和中国区李皓辰总督对项目的推进建议和今后给予的各项支持。STEPHEN总监在会议讲话中说：“合肥常青学校双语部高效落实GIA，创造性地实施教学，以及在开学这段时间里取得的学术成效给予了高度评价和赞赏。
Finally, we listened carefully to suggestions from Stephen Rivers and Harry Lee. The director Stephen said ‘ The Bilingual School of Hefei Gaoxin IVY Experimental Academy has implemented GIA effectively.’ He highly evaluated academic achievement brought by all the teachers and employees in this school.
